The Mission of Azerbaijan to the European Union is pleased to invite you to a special book presentation and discussion dedicated to the launch of:

Azerbaïdjan: Géopolitique de l’énergie d’une Eurasie en mutation
by Samuel Furfari

In this timely new publication, Samuel Furfari explores Azerbaijan’s growing strategic importance in the evolving geopolitics of energy across Eurasia. The book examines the country’s historic role in the development of the oil industry, its vast natural gas reserves, and its increasing importance for European energy diversification amid changing regional dynamics.

Positioned at the crossroads between East and West, Azerbaijan emerges in the book as a key geopolitical actor balancing relations with Europe, Russia, Iran, Israel, and the wider Eurasian region. The work also offers reflections on contemporary energy security, international relations, and the future of Eurasian cooperation.
