ICRT Europe Responsible Tourism Forum & Awards

The ICRT Europe Responsible Tourism Forum & Awards 2026 will bring together leading voices from across Europe’s tourism sector in Brussels for an evening dedicated to recognising innovation, leadership and meaningful action in responsible tourism. Hosted at the Press Club Brussels Europe, the event will provide a platform for tourism professionals, destinations and organisations to exchange ideas and celebrate initiatives that are helping create a more sustainable and responsible future for the industry.

Organised by ICRT Global, the event will combine the Responsible Tourism Forum with the ICRT Europe Responsible Tourism Awards, creating a space where discussion and recognition come together. The programme will explore some of the key challenges and opportunities facing European tourism, highlighting how destinations and businesses can translate sustainability ambitions into practical solutions with measurable impact.

The Forum will feature contributions from tourism experts and industry representatives, including Leen Gysen, Meltem Acar, Victoria Petrova, Matt Callaghan and Scott Lawson, who will share their perspectives on the future of responsible tourism. António Buscardini will welcome participants and moderate the Forum and Awards ceremony, while Harold Goodwin and Debbie Hindle of ICRT Global will play central roles in bringing together the organisations and professionals advancing responsible tourism across Europe.

The evening will culminate in the 2026 ICRT Europe Responsible Tourism Awards, celebrating organisations, destinations and initiatives demonstrating outstanding approaches to responsible tourism. Beyond recognising achievement, the event aims to encourage collaboration and inspire the wider tourism community to adopt practices that benefit destinations, local communities, visitors and the environment, reinforcing Brussels as a meeting point for conversations shaping the future of European tourism.
